Tenant Selection

Tenant selection starts with a property inspection by our experienced property managers. We ask questions without prospective tenants being aware their responses are being assessed. Open houses are conducted to allow as many prospective tenants to view the property as possible, but we specialise in individual viewings at times that are convenient for all prospective tenants, including after hours and on weekends.

Prospective tenants must complete an application form, which is available from our office, at the viewing or on the internet. The applicants must provide 100 points of identification, including:

  • Photo identification
  • Proof of income
  • References: both personal and professional
  • Previous rental references

A verification checklist will be completed by the Property Management staff confirming details provided by the prospective tenants. We are a member of the Tenancy Information Centre of Australia (TICA) which provides a tenant database for defaulting tenants. Once applications have been approved by our staff, the decision will be yours as to who will tenant your investment property. The process is conducted in compliance with Privacy and Discrimination Legislation
